HOTSPOT WI-FI TERMS OF USE & CLARIFICATION TEXT ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION (KVKK & LAW NO. 5651) This clarification text is prepared to determine the procedures and principles regarding the processing of personal data of guests and users of the Wi-Fi service provided by Teknet Bilişim Hizmetleri A.Ş. (“Data Controller”) in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and Law No. 5651. 1. Legal Responsibility: The User is solely responsible for all actions, visited websites, and content shared while using this network. The Service Provider cannot be held liable for any illegal activities, copyright infringements, or crimes committed by the User. The User accepts full legal and criminal liability. 2. Processed Personal Data: • Identity and Contact Data: Full name, ID/Passport number, phone number (for SMS verification PIN). • Transaction Security & Traffic Data: Device MAC address, IP address, connection start/end timestamps, destination IP addresses and port information. 3. Purposes of Processing: • Retaining access and traffic log records electronically and ensuring their integrity with digital timestamps pursuant to Law No. 5651. • Ensuring network and information security, preventing unauthorized access and cyber threats. • Identity confirmation via SMS verification codes. • Fulfilling legal requests from competent public authorities and judicial bodies. 4. Legal Grounds: Under Article 5/2 of KVKK: Article 5/2-a (explicitly required by laws - Law No. 5651), Article 5/2-ç (fulfillment of legal obligations of the data controller), and Article 5/2-f (legitimate interests of the data controller to maintain network security). 5. Data Transfer and Retention Period: • Data is only transferred to competent judicial and authorized public authorities (Courts, Police, ICTA/BTK) upon lawful request. It is strictly never transferred to third parties for commercial/marketing purposes. • Access and traffic log records are retained securely for a minimum of 2 (two) years as stipulated by Law No. 5651. 6. Your Rights Under KVKK Article 11: You may submit your requests regarding your personal data rights under Article 11 of the KVKK to the Data Controller via hizmet@teknetbilisim.com. "By connecting to this network, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood this Clarification Text and Terms of Use, and that your connection details are logged in accordance with Turkish Law No. 5651 and KVKK."
